NEA Planning Task 2 - My Mood Board

 The brief I chose was to create a magazine and a website. I have to create the front cover and contents pages of the first two editions of my magazine (so two front covers and content pages total) as well as two pages for the working website of the magazine, which is centred around current affairs. The target audience for such magazine are 16-25 year old middle and upmarket consumers who are socially conscious. My audience in particular value aesthetics and information, so creating a visual with depth for my magazine cover is a priority to hold their interest, whilst combined with compelling captions adding information around the topic of the issue.   Introduction In this task I will be looking at how font, images and colours influence my target audience and how to use them in my magazine. NEA Planning Task 1 - My Audience

Introduction In this post I am going to be going into depth about my target audience through the use of a survey of my peers to help steer what I want my product to achieve by finding out the wants of my audience and understanding them to a better extent. Main Task - My findings Through my survey, I have narrowed down the interests and ideas of my target audience in order to establish a magazine that best represents their wants and needs when it comes to both a magazine and the connected website. This has thus enabled me to optimise on my approach to the product and keep their interests in mind when it comes to production.  Audience information The target audience for my product are 16-25 year olds of an upmarket to middle market background with particular interests regarding social issues as they are socially conscious.  From my survey, I can deduce that, from a magazine cover, they value aesthetics the most.
