In this task I am going to be identifying my models and interviewees for my magazine and website, explaining why they are good fits to best engage my target audience and fit the magazine the best.

I have to create the front cover and contents pages of the first two editions of my magazine (so two front covers and content pages total) as well as two pages for the working website of the magazine, which is centred around current affairs. Online Cross-Media Product: Website

In this post, I will be highlighting what I would've done differently for my website if COVID hadn't prohibited my ability to add certain content.  https://campdaniel4444.wixsite.com/mysite-2 Images The images on the slideshow on the home page would have been original images rather than blank colours, similar to the one's below I used as reference points. An over the shoulder shot used for the 'Woman at Work' (Image 1) and high key lighting to make the character seem approachable and likeable whilst also respected, lighting having connotations of empowerment. The setting would be similar too, professional but with a more subtle, lighter brown colours as to fit the aesthetic of the magazine more. Task 4 - Media Theory Research

Introduction In this post, I intend on examining how theories are used in various media products to construct a narrative and appeal to the target audience. Through doing this, I will be able to apply the same theories to my own work to increase its quality and appeal. Task Theories used: Van Zoonen - Woman's body is an object to display the clothes rather than in itself be a spectacle, by wearing feminine colours and shapes in the flowing fabric, the idea of gender performances is upheld in through the clothing expression, which also mimics the idea of the changing historical context in the more contemporary shape and hand pose, which is compounded by the capitalised and large 'pink'.
